Letter from Fukakusa Shihan, Chairman of ASEANF:
Dear Members of the Aikido of South East Asian Nations Fellowship,
It is with sincere appreciation and thanks that I write to you today for your attendance and participation of the second ASEANF gathering in Hanoi, Vietnam. The spirit of the Fellowship as envisioned by the late Tamura Shihan in creating a brotherhood of aikido based on friendship and harmony was very evident in the conduct of all participants. For this I thank all of you. Tamura Shihan would have been very happy to see us working together towards his vision of this fellowship and he was surely with us in Spirit.

It is my sincere hope that the bonds and ties of friendship forged at this event serve as a basis from which to grow as an organization in the future. I feel that the development of aikido in South East Asia can only benefit from our continued interaction and support for one another. Moving forward, further interaction in terms of consultation and technical development of aikido as per O' Sensei's vision should remain a prime objective for fellowship members.

Once again, I would like to thank you very much for all your support and your attendance at the second ASEANF gathering in Hanoi. I look forward to working with you in the future to further strengthen ASEANF in the region.

Best Regards,
Motohiro Fukakusa,
Chairman
